This could have been a 5-Star rating...EASILY! The story has hilarious aspects, as if a very funny joke was being told. However, towards the end of this short story I kept thinking "Where could she possibly go with this - being the end is right around the corner?" Unfortunately, the end was just sort of "dropped in your lap"...as if the author got extremely bored, or broke...and just ran out of gas! Nevertheless, the author is talented BEYOND BELIEF, and most likely can away with doing something like this. Anyway, the story is well written, and is probably worth the read!Product details

This is a great short story for people who are new to Kim Bette's work.
Very poor book at least make it longer if it would have been longer the score would be higher so........
Good short story, going to start another one of her short stories. Have read a couple of her books, she is a good writer. Will be buying more
Great story with an awesome ending. Wow this story gets you thinking.It needs a new meaning in life it self.
A well written story, but it's not original. It's an almost exact duplicate of the Busby Death Stoop, which is a real chair somewhere in England. It was cursed in almost the same manner, and eventually ended up in a museum, hanging 5 feet up the wall so nobody could sit in it. This story is just an updated version.
